Position Description

We have recently developed a deep learning-based approach, written in TensorFlow, to perform transfer learning in the field of genomics. We are seeking an undergraduate with experience in deep learning, TensorFlow and Python for a paid research position (STDT3 or higher, depending on experience) to develop our prototype code into mature software packages written in Python and R for widespread distribution, as well as develop basic extensions of the work. Position Start

The position will start in winter quarter with the option to continue through the remaining academic year and into the summer. The student must be able to work a minimum of 12 hrs/week in our physical space. Depending on lab funding, there may be an opportunity to continue full time as a junior specialist following graduation.
